"What I liked most about MangoStudy was that the platform is all inclusive and absolutely so wonderful, we focused on Administrative Assisting, the information is condensed, specific, new, and in one place and of so much importance, I am impressed! Students were very happy that the newest information was readily available for them. The coding information It is perfect!"

Most recently, I taught the Phlebotomy, Electrocardiography and Medical Assistant course for San Francisco State University, specifically for the underrepresented Native American communities across Northern California. I have only a few hours with students, I ensure impactful organized clinical labs and efficient explanation of theoretical content. It is important that students can succeed within their certification examination and when working with our patient communities. Customer service and community health go hand in hand, your success has to do with your ethics, how well you handle each situation, it is the explanation you provide to our patients about the who, why, when, and what that occurs in an exam room. I am interested in nutrition and consider myself an expert at bedside healthcare.

I believe in teaching critical thinking skills that students can use as a tool for life, and discovery-based learning, which enables students to apply their skills and creativity. I love what I do, and loved being a Medical Assistant helping patients and students receive excellent care, a Medical Lab Scientist and helping students understand the importance of labs to diagnosis and treatment, and love teaching students and writing and designing engaging curriculum to help them be successful and provide excellent patient care.

I am Professor Lee-ssa Bridgeman. I have been a part of the Healthcare Industry for more than 30 years. Through my military connection, I have worked across the country in the clinical setting as a Provider and Administrator. In addition to my medical experience, I have over 18 healthcare-related degrees, 29+ certifications from Stanford University of Medicine, and several ACU and NHA certifications. I have been a Clinical Instructor for over 14 years and am a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant amongst other things. I am involved in several research projects in search of cures for chronic diseases, while serving on the Rapid Response Team for two local medical facilities. My career has focused on promoting and advocating health awareness for the uninformed population. As a Healthcare Provider, it is my integrity and strong medical ethics that ignites this drive for informed healthcare. I strongly advocate for those that are unaware of their patient rights, ensuring that the patient is the focal point of health care, and encourage patients to actively participate in the management of their health.

My philosophy of teaching is to create an environment that allows for supervised exploration. I believe that the most significant learning occurs in situations that are both meaningful and realistic. The best way to accomplish these goals is through small group or one-on-one teaching, particularly in a clinically relevant setting.
